Vintage Souvenir Ski Patch Scarf in Cream. No label.
What makes this scarf interesting is that it throws a patch from the Scottish Ski Club into the mainly European mix. This scarf references ski clubs as well as ski resorts such as St Moritz, Chamonix, Aspen, as well as ski schools and ski clubs. I love this scarf!
I have been lucky enough to collect four of these style of scarves over the decades I've been collecting Ski Vintage. They don't come up very often, or at least not when I am hunting for them! I imagined myself wearing this scarf tied around my head like a headband, but alas I looked ridiculous.
I was sad to put these scarves put for sale, so I've decided to hire them out (which means they stay in my collection!). I have a philosophy that clothing and jewellery is mean to be worn. It doesn't do any good sitting in a draw or gathering dust in a cupboard!
