This rare and stunning day bill is in fantastic condition with the only points of note being that it has the usual two fold lines. In the bottom right hand corner are the printed words Robert Burton Pty Ltd Sydney.
Winter A-Go-Go is a 1965 American comedy-drama film directed by Richard Benedict and starring James Stacy, William Wellman Jr., Beverly Adams, John Anthony Hayes, Jill Donohue, Tom Nardini, Duke Hobbie, Julie Parrish, Buck Holland, Linda Rogers, and Nancy Czar. The film was released by Columbia Pictures on October 28, 1965.
The film plot finds a young Jeff Forrester who has just inherited Snow Mountain Lodge at Heavenly Valley. He has hired Danny Frazer to be his recruiter for staff, neither aware of who they require as they have not yet even seen the lodge itself. Regardless, Danny is solely focused on friendly, pretty young women who can fill the lodge with the ambiance to satisfy his own carnal desires. Beyond discovering the lodge is not even close to being turnkey ready upon their arrival, Jeff may throw a wrench into Danny's plans as although he wants as fun an experience for the staff as well as the guests as possible, which means intermingling between the sexes, he institutes a separate girls side and boys side to the staff quarters, Danny who nonetheless tries to overcome the safeguards Jeff has put into place for staff to adhere to the policy.
While Danny has his eyes on many a number of the young women, many a young woman has her eye on Jeff, especially Jo Wallace who wants to show Jeff that her intentions are honorable. Jeff and Danny may have bigger problems on their hands as unknown to them, two guests are there to ensure the lodge isn't a success in working for Jeff's creditor Jordan, who wants Jeff to forfeit on the mortgage so that he can snap up the property himself
Mike Frankovich of Columbia Pictures saw A Swingin' Summer (1965) and told producer Reno Carell he would distribute a follow-up using that film's stars, James Stacy and William Wellman, Jr. The film was shot under the title A Swingin' Winter and used females under contract to Columbia. It was shot in Heavenly Valley on Lake Tahoe, and in the Eldorado National Forest.
