Curiosity Chocolate's Alpine Pepper Bar is their local specialty, using native mountain pepper berries that grow throughout the Jindabyne NSW region.
The spice mix is comprised primarily of pepper berries, it’s leaf and salt. The chocolate smoothes out the sharpness giving a herby savoury taste with a delightful warm finish that’s ideal with a red wine.

Curiosity Chocolates is named after Curiosity Rocks, a Jindabyne landmark and aboriginal sacred site at one end of Lake Jindabyne. The hill shaped pile of massive boulders is ancient and was most probably left behind by a melting glacier during the last ice age. Where possible they use local ingredients such as Alpine Pepper, raw honey from their own beehives and fruit and herbs from their garden.
