Bamboo ski poles were the standard in skiing from roughly 1905 to 1955, offering a lightweight, strong, and flexible alternative to heavy wood or early metal, particularly for the rise of cross-country racing. Primarily utilising durable Tonkin bamboo, they dominated until aluminium, and later carbon fiber, took over in the late 1950s.
When I have vintage bamboo ski poles in stock, they will be added individually.
