Franklins Merchandising House The Great Downhill Ski Game 1970's.
A game for 1-4 players ‘A ski game with all the thrills of the slope’. Object of the game is to ski down the mountain using the tiles provided, whilst also scoring the highest number of points. Different tiles have different point values, each player chooses ten tiles in one go, and uses them to choose his route, followed by each of the other players in turn, before choosing a further ten tiles & so-on.
There are, of course, twists / turns & obstacles along the way!! (i.e.blocked by another skiers route). The game may also be played singly (the ‘Solitaire’ version).
Confusingly, this game was also manufactured by Waddingtons House of Games.
